Hey friends, it's Julia from Plated Cravings here. I’m happy to be a contributor on TSRI and share some of my favorite recipes with Donna and Chad's lovely readers.

This brownie recipe makes a great dessert for a party or summer get-together. You might ask why they’re called slutty brownies?

I would say because they are over the top indulgent, delicious, AND they’re pretty easy to make.

You could easily make these Oreo cookie brownies using a box of brownie mix or your favorite chilled chocolate chip cookie dough if you’re short on time!

In fact many slutty brownie recipes are completely made from the box and yes, that’s easier, but trust me and make them from scratch instead.

These are SO good, and you probably have everything you need to make them in your pantry.

Slutty Brownies Recipe Notes

  • You can use any kind of Oreos for this recipe.
  • I always line my baking pans with parchment paper. Not only does it make clean up easier, but it also lets you lift the brownies easily from the pan.
  • I like to use Dutch-process cocoa powder for my brownies because it dissolves easily. Plus, it gives the brownies a darker color.
  • All ovens are different so I recommend using a wooden skewer or toothpick to check for doneness. Make sure to bake the brownies in the lower third of the oven.
  • Slutty brownies are very rich! As a result, you may want to cut them into 16 squares instead of 9. Be sure to serve them with milk.
  • To make this recipe easier you can use a brownie mix or your favorite cookie dough instead of making it from scratch. Perfect for days when you are super busy, but still want something a little more special!
  • The cookie layer will be chewy and soft. Perfect for every cookie dough lover! If you want the layer to be less soft try baking the cookie layer for a few minutes before adding the Oreo cookies and the brownie batter.

Ingredient notes and supplies:

  • Brownie Pan - I love this pan! It’s super easy to clean, everything slides right off and there is also a version with a lid so it’s easy to transport and store baked brownies or cakes.
  • Dutch-process cocoa powder - I love to use this cocoa powder for baking because it dissolves easily and is darker in color.
  • Chocolate Chips - According to America’s Test Kitchen these are the best chocolate chips!

Enjoy!

With love from our simple kitchen to yours.

Reese's Peanut Butter Fudge Brownies

A simple brownie recipe loaded with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups is the base for the out-of-this-world treat. The brownie is topped with a peanut butter frosting that is second only to your grandma’s peanut butter fudge. Then it’s sprinkled with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and drizzled with milk chocolate.

A brownie, unlike anything you have had before.

Reese's Peanut Butter Fudge Brownie is fully loaded with your favorite peanut butter and chocolate combinations.  It will truly knock your socks off.

Honestly, it was so good I have been banned from buying presents, instead, there are only to be gifts of these brownies.  YEP.  THAT GOOD!

Every special occasion needs a special treat, at least in my world.  So for Mother’s Day this year, I made my mother-in-law, Gigi, the most scrumptious and decadent brownie I could dream up.

Since she’s a lover of all things chocolate and peanut butter, I put the two together to create the dreamiest dessert you can imagine.

A simple brownie packed with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups is the base for the out-of-this-world treat.

The brownie is topped with a peanut butter frosting that is second only to your grandma’s peanut butter fudge. Then it’s sprinkled with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and drizzled with milk chocolate.

Whether this is a special occasion for you already, or you just want to create a special occasion with this fabulous dessert, you are going to love it.

As a matter of fact, Gigi has advised me that there are never to be store-bought gifts again… just these brownies. They’re a total hit!

Helpful Tips to make Reese’s Peanut Butter Fudge Brownies:

  • These brownies freeze very well. Be sure to wrap well and defrost for 30 minutes before eating.
  • If you do not prefer peanut butter cups, you can substitute 1 cup of milk chocolate chips in the batter and omit the frosting. They are fabulous that way!

What you will need to make Reese’s Peanut Butter Fudge Brownies:

  • 9x13 Baking Dish - I have my favorites and this set is one of them. The 9x13 is perfect for casseroles and the smaller size is awesome for making 1/2 a casserole recipe.
  • Stand Mixer -

Enjoy!

3-Ingredient Brownies (With VIDEO)

3-Ingredient Brownies are moist, chewy, chocolaty and oh so fudgy. They come together in just 5 minutes. And the taste is spectacular. They are sweet enough to be a treat and not overly decadent. Definitely my new go-to everyday brownie recipe.

After dropping off my 6-year-old and a batch of these brownies for babysitting, we got full approval from Gigi (my mother-in-law and our family chocoholic). So if Gigi loves them you will too.

I love making brownies, but I like something quick and easy for those extra occasions when I just want to whip something up really quick and head out the door in a few minutes.

That is where these totally ahhhhhmazing 3-Ingredient Brownies come in. I literally just dump ingredients in a bowl, mix and pour in the pan. 20 minutes later I have fabulous perfect brownies.

Have you ever tried to cut brownies straight out of the oven? You pretty much end up with a mess of a brownie pan. I used to have the same problem until a friend of mine gave me a tip.

I have to say this tip especially comes in handy when preparing food gifts. At Christmas, I pack up about 30 food gifts and every last one has brownies.
