Made with brown sugar, it has a richer deeper flavor.  Chad says it tastes a little like butterscotch.  I think it tastes like pecan pie bars filling.  Munchkin just says “more”.  That’s a thumbs up from Munchkin.  Either way, it is quick, easy and delicious!  It is perfect on ice cream, pie, cake and especially this Peach Cobbler Pound Cake.

No Fail Caramel Sauce - 4 Ingredients and 6 Minutes is all you need to dive into this luxurious sauce! It tastes like caramel with a hint of butterscotch. Ingredients

  • 2 cups light brown sugar, packed
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat whisking occasionally.  Cook for about 5 minutes, remove from heat and add vanilla.
  2. Whisk to combine and return to heat for another minute until thickened.
  3. Serve and enjoy!
