Fresh sweet corn is one of my favorite summer side dishes. It goes with almost anything whether that's hot dogs on the grill or a Sunday pot roast.

Tips for making air fryer corn on the cob
You should prep your corn by removing the husks and trimming the edges. Be sure to cover the ears of corn completely with melted butter. It helps them cook evenly and they taste so much better that way.
If you prefer to keep this recipe vegan, instead of butter, you can spray the corn with olive oil or a butter-flavored cooking spray.
But, just don't put them in plain. When you make air-fried corn on the cob, they need to have some sort of coating whether that's oil or butter.
If you are concerned about the ears of corn getting too crispy, you can try adding a spray of olive oil to the cobs when you first put them in.
And, then halfway through, you can coat them with butter. Make sure that you flip them over partway through so they get crispy and grilled on all sides.
For a smaller air fryer, you can cut the cobs in half if you need to in order to fit them in better.

Is it safe to use foil in an air fryer?
While it is safe to use foil in your air fryer, your food won't cook as well. Air frying works because the air circulates freely around the food to cook it.
If you cover the food with foil, you just won't get the same results. Save the foil for the grill. You don't need it in this air fryer corn on the cob recipe.

Do not crowd the corn into the air fryer or lay them on top of each other. Place each corn on the basket and allow for room for the air to circulate.
We can fit about 4 ears of corn in ours. But, yours may vary. It only takes a few minutes to make more.
